Materials

As with most hobbies, you will need to invest a certain amount of time, effort and money in order to get started. Material costs for the visual arts can vary greatly depending on your medium of choice. I've created a list of the basic materials and equipment you'll need to work in the following media:

Classes taught by a Certified and Trained Bob Ross Instructor
Painting
For painters, the most expensive one-off investment is the painting easel, which varies in price and quality and the Bob Ross Master Kit .
Ongoing expenses include:
- Canvas
- Paints
- Paper Towels
- Pencil and paper
- Tupernoid Odorless Thinner and leakproof container with brush screen
- (unless otherwise noted below you will always need these items for my class)
