Hi, my name is Kim Cowger and I live Fayetteville, North Carolina. I am a Certified Bob Ross Instructor in landscapes, seascapes, flowers and realistic wildlife.

I was involved with the arts in high school.  Many of my paintings hung on the bulletin boards.  Although, I did not pursue an art degree, I did get AA college degree in Criminal Justice.  Became a police officer in the town of Crisifield, then I went to the Police Academy on the Eastern Shore of Maryland.

After moving back to North Carolina in 1993, my passion for the arts returned.  First I took some classes at FTCC.  Then became Certified as a Bob Ross instructor in 1998.

I have taken additional classes from well known and international artist and adapted some of their styles into my work.  I am always learning and trying new things.  Take time to visit the page "Artist I have Painted with" to learn more.

I love my job.  I love my hobby.  I just plain love to paint, paint, paint. 

You can find me teaching at AC Moore in several locations in North Carolina near Raleigh and at Fayetteville Technical Community College.

I have a few other hobbies, too. I like to go to the movies, and I enjoy a good book from time to time.  I spend a lot of time with my family and friends, and we still enjoy going to museums together.
